Returning Student Enrollment
2021-2022 Early Enrollment Process for Returning Students (Current Students 2020-2021)
Current KCTC 10th and 11th grade students have the opportunity to participate in Early Enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year. Because we give returning students priority placement, the student must maintain good standings in attendance and academics. Failure to do so will result in placement loss.
Academics/Attendance/Conduct: In some cases, if more requests for a class are made than seats are available, we will make selections based on student performance, attendance, and teacher recommendation.
Students will be given the opportunity during class time to make a selection for next year. This process is done through the student’s PowerSchool account.
Students will be asked to declare one of three options:
- Select the program and session he/she would like to attend in 2021-2022.
(Some programs and schools do not participate all three sessions)
- Select Undecided (A member of the Student Services staff will connect with the student discuss options and possible program visits to other programs)
- Select Not Returning
Early Enrollment is from November 30 – December 22. Students may change their selection up until January 24. Any changes made after January 24 will need to be processed through Student Services.
Early Enrollment lists will be sent to the student’s high school counselor at the end of January.
2021-2022 Enrollment confirmation letters will be mailed early May.
High school seniors enrolling in a two-year program may return after graduation to complete the program’s second year. This is available based on openings in the requested classes. High school students will receive priority placement. Students are not allowed to attend a program more than two years. Postgraduate students cannot request a change of program when returning to complete a program’s second year. A fee of $200.00 per year will be assessed as a confirmation of intent to return. All two-year programs must be completed in consecutive years.
Students interested in returning after graduation should apply beginning March 1. Full tuition payment will be required when submitting the application.
