Esports Competition planned for Oct. 17
GRAND RAPIDS - The fall edition of the Kent County Cup, Kent ISD's esports competition, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17.
High school students from Kent ISD districts are invited to take part in the Mario Kart 8 tournament held at KCTC. The tournament can host up to 64 competitors.
Entry for competitors is just $5 and spectators are free. Concessions will be available onsite for snacks and for lunch. Registration is encouraged due to the 64-competitor limit and is currently open at this link.
The Kent County Cup was created by the Kent ISD Workforce Development team to expose KCTC programs and college opportunities for those who enjoy video games and esports.
