Our Students in the Lab

Our students have the opportunity to work in GVSU's medical lab downtown on Grand Rapids' Medical Mile. Here they practice a range of skills including isolating DNA using new technologies in genetics, mutating and growing microorganisms for pharmaceutical use and more. They even get to work alongside real medical researchers and propose a cure for real disease!
