Yvonne Alles

Yvonne Alles, DHA, MBA

Yvonne Alles came to KCTC after nearly twenty years of service to Davenport University. At Davenport, she assisted with development of many unique academic programs that relied on the impact of emerging career and technical education offerings such as middle college and dual enrollment; she also served as the Department Chair for Allied Health at Davenport, overseeing programs in Medical Assisting, Medical Case Management, and Health Services Administration across the state of Michigan. Before joining the Davenport faculty, she directed a team of medical language specialists at Spectrum Health in the Health Information Management department. She received her doctorate in Health Administration in 2010 and is honored that her career path ultimately led to the Health Careers program of Kent ISD.

She is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations including Rotary, Lowell Arts, and the Black Nurses Association. Outside of professional interests, she has a passion for her family and especially her grandchildren Sasha and Pavel.
