Students who wish to attend the Criminal Justice program must complete the application and interview process.
Due to Covid, the application process will be the same as last year. We will not be conducting interviews. After submission, the applications will be reviewed and acceptance into the program will be based on the application and the letters of recommendations.

Ferris Pre-college Application Instructions

Register for an account and on page 2 of the application select "Dual Enrollment" as your Level designation.
Do I need to Apply to FSU?
- All students enrolling for “A Year”, possessing an overall 2.5 GPA or higher, will need to apply with Ferris State University.
- “A Year” students with an overall 2.5 GPA or higher will receive 3 concurrent credits for Intro to Criminal Justice (CRIM 110) from Ferris State University.
- “B Year” students with an overall 2.5 GPA or higher will receive 3 concurrent credits for Intro to Law Enforcement (CRIM 113) from Ferris State University.
- Students who are currently in “A Year (2018-2019 students)” planning on taking “B year next year (2019-2020)” will be enrolling during our CJ Class for Ferris State University while at KCTC. (Counselors do not need to worry about enrolling current CJ students).
Please Note: Students that have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher will need to apply with FSU in addition to completing the normal CJ application.
We will still accept a student application if they do not meet a 2.5 GPA or higher, but they do not need to enroll with Ferris State University.
