My name is Stephanie Khalouf and I am currently in my 21st year of teaching the Health Careers Program for the Kent Career Technical Center. I have a Bachelor of Art Degree in Chemistry from Indiana University and a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. As an occupational therapist, I have worked in a variety of settings such as inpatient and outpatient departments of general hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and mental health facilities.
I love my job because of the wonderful assortment of students that each year brings. Helping each student grow as a person and future health care worker is the ultimate reward of this job. Students gain a foundation of knowledge while practicing patient care skills and techniques used daily in the healthcare profession. I help to foster positive relationships that will aid in the professional interactions needed on the job.
