Mark Love

This is my 23rd year teaching Applied Construction Technology, and I teach 2nd and 3rd Sessions.

I grew up in the construction business. My father owned Love and Jasick Finer Homes in Muskegon, and this is where I learned my base knowledge for construction. After college I went back into the field to be an onsite supervisor for Super 8 Builders Inc., building Super 8 Motels around the country. My experiences also include the construction of Wesco gas stations throughout Michigan and starting my own business in Youngstown, Ohio building plazas for retail stores. I eventually interviewed for the job of my life working here at Kent  Career Tech Center, and it was the best decision I ever made!

Special Interests

I enjoy riding my motorcycle and bow hunting. I love the outdoors, animals and watching sports.

What I love about Being a Teacher

I love the fact that I can help mold and guide a student to a promising future. The satisfaction of passing on knowledge and everday life-learning skils is important to me as a father and a teacher.
