Cary Stamas joined the KCTC and MySchool@Kent teams in the Fall of 2014 as an administrator. Prior to that, he served as a principal in both Caledonia and Sparta. Cary taught HS Math & Physics and coached for 12 years in Sparta before joining the high school administrative team at SHS. From there, he joined the staff in Caledonia as a middle school principal before coming to Kent ISD. During his career, he has interned in the engineering field, been an online student, and directed online programming for 6-12 students. Cary grew up in Kent County and attended the University of Miami, Hope College, Central Michigan University, and, currently, is completing a PhD program at Western Michigan University. In his role at KISD, Mr. Stamas is supporting both MS@K and KCTC.
